Casey C. Bartek grew up in the construction business, working under his father for many years here at Bartek before eventually buying the company from him in 2011. In his time before fataking on the role of President & Owner, Casey Bartek owned his own small welding company, fabricating steel buildings for multiple customers, repairing equipment and operating heavy machinery. Later, he would come to work for his father at Bartek, where he was a Field Superintendent, working out on the jobsites. In 2007, he became the Vice President of Bartek Construction, and it was here that he gained the experience for supervising, estimating, job costing, and scheduling. All things that would eventually prepare him for buying the company from his father and becoming the acting, Current President and Owner of Bartek Construction.
In his free time, Casey spends most of it out on his Ranch with his family. Herding over 300 head of cattle is where this busy man finds his peace of mind.
James Humphrey joined the Bartek team in 2010 as the Vice President Operations as Casey was transitioning to Owner. A Graduate of South West Texas University of San Marcos, James came to Bartek with over 10 years of experience in construction management. In the 10 years since taking over as the Vice President, James has taken over many responsibilities such as the Crew Schedules, Management of ongoing projects, Monthly WIP reports, Billing reports and Job Progress. He is also responsible for managing the companies established anual profit goals to ensure that the company is always moving forward and never back.
James enjoys hunting and fishing and spending time with his family in his free time.

Since 2008, Dennis Werley has been dedicated to improving the safety at Bartek Construction for both Customer and Crew. He works closely with IBTX Risk Management to keep up with the new laws and OSHA regulations. He holds weekly safety meetings with the superintendents and foremen to ensure everyone is up to date.

Superintendent
Zach is responsible for the overview of all underground utility and sewer, water and storm drain systems. He is specifically assigned to our SAWS contracts and works closely with them to ensure the projects meet city standards.

Controller/Office Manager
Sherry has been in the construction industry for more than 20 years and brings knowledge from all areas of construction accounting. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in business and holds certifications in general management, operations management, and accounting. As our Controller, Sherry manages all accounting functions at Bartek and oversees the office accounting team.
