Casey Bartek grew up in the construction industry, working with his father for many years here at Bartek Construction before eventually purchasing the company in 2011. During his time before taking over, Casey owned his own small welding company, fabricating steel buildings, repairing equipment, and operating heavy machinery. In 2007, he became the Vice President of Bartek Construction and gained experience in supervising, estimating, job costing, and scheduling. All of which would prepare him for purchasing the company from his father and becoming the current President and owner of Bartek Construction. Casey spends his free time on his ranch with his family. Herding cattle is where this busy man finds his peace of mind.
James Humphrey joined the Bartek team in 2010 as the Vice President of Operations as Casey was transitioning to Owner. A Graduate of Southwest Texas State University of San Marcos, James came to Bartek with over 10 years of experience in construction management. In the 10 years since taking over as the Vice President, James has taken over many responsibilities such as the crew schedules, project management, and job progress. He is also responsible for managing the company's established annual profit goals to ensure that the company continues to progress forward. James enjoys hunting and fishing and spending time with his family in his free time.

Gas Division Manager & OQ Safety Manager
Paul has been involved in the underground construction of gas, electricity, and communications since 1995. He was Director of Safety & OQ for 11 years before coming on board with Bartek. Paul has been a project manager and managing operations for the last seven years so his interest in joining Bartek was to get back into safety and create a culture that would put safety first. Paul’s hobbies include working on his classic car and spending time with his kids and grandchildren.

Superintendent
Zach is responsible for the overview of all underground utility and sewer, water and storm drain systems. He is specifically assigned to our SAWS contracts and works closely with them to ensure the projects meet city standards.

Sherry has been in the construction industry for more than 20 years and brings knowledge from all areas of construction accounting. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in business and holds certifications in general management, operations management, and accounting. As our Controller, Sherry manages the business finances and human resources.
